PURPOSE The objective of the assignment is to evaluate students' ability to discuss the effects of technology and the technological challenges that exist in communication technology REQUIREMENT Many policies, initiatives, programmes and projects are identified and executed to give a clear understanding on the serious efforts of Malaysia in becoming a communication technology community. At a national level, there are various reasons why the government plan and implement all the strategies to develop information and Communication Technology (ICT) usage. Among others are to increase the competition in the world economy and also to serve as a tool to solve local economic problems, to improve and restore the quality of life and the welfare of a country as well as being able to provide more job opportunities for the fellow citizens, and to ensure that the country achieves the informative society status and stands on par with other developed countries. Based on the above statement: 1. Discuss the impacts of ICT on the Malaysian community and culture. What are the challenges faced by users with regards to communication 2. technology? Suggest solution to the challenges faced by users with regards to 3. communication technology in Malaysia
