Putting Your Best Foot Forward $-$ Making Interviews More Manageable

Job and graduate school interviews can be intimidating scenarios; few people are so certain of themselves that they don$$t get a little anxious beforehand! $($Good for you if you don$$t$!)$ However, like in so many other areas of life, preparation is key. We$$ve talked about different types of interviews and about the general types of biases that can be present in these different types. However, no matter what the interview process, you can pretty much expect that some of the typical questions will still be asked. Please take a look at the list of questions below, and pick $3$ of these questions to answer. Think of it as writing a $$script$$ for your next interview.

Additionally, think about the information we discussed on behaviorally$-$based interviewing and the STAR technique. In order to demonstrate how this can be used, think of a time when you faced a challenge in your life as a student, as a member of a club or organization, or on the job. Explain the STAR technique, and using its principles, explain how you resolved this challenge.
