In order to better understand how our organization can finance the investments in the Video game industry we previously analyzed, we must first understand the state of our organization.

$$DEPARTMENTS This table lists the Department number and the Description $($Name$)$ for each of the departments

DIST$\_$CENTERS This table lists the Name, Address, and Square Footage for all of the Distribution Centers

that supply our stores throughout the country.

EXPENSE$\_$TYPE Provides a descriptive name for each General Ledger $($GL$)$ Account listed in the EXPENSES

EXPENSES Lists the expenses by store, year, and month for each store. Expenses are divided into the specific expenses incurred for each General Ledger $($GL$)$ account.

For example; you typically get one electric bill for a store, so how do you allocate those to the toy department? This table allocates those monthly expenses to each department by using the square footage of each department.

SALES Lists the sales for each store by week and for each department that sold those items.

STORE$\_$TURNOVER Lists the turnover rate for each store by Year and Month. $($the number reflects a percent, ex$.4\mathrm{.}3$ is $4\mathrm{.}3\%)$

You have access to examples of connecting to our database using Jupyter Notebook. You will need to figure out the appropriate SQL queries to retrieve the information you need.

You will likely need to dig in more than just figuring out whether media and gaming are profitable. That is not enough detail for this analysis. You will need to figure out the "why" media and gaming is$/$isn$\text{'}$t profitable to appropriately evaluate a decision.
