Python $-$ Pandas $-$ I have a dataframe df$1$ created by reading an excel $($pd$.$read$\_$excel$).$ There is a column $($value$1),$ that is of int type, which has empty blank cells in the excel. How do I check these blank values in my code and replace it with something else? I used : df$1[\text{'}$value$1\text{'}]=$df$1[\text{'}$value$1\text{'}].$replace$(\text{'}\text{'},-8888).$ Nothing happens. Please help.
