Two bolts are to be threaded at their end $($Figure $2$a$),$ one of it has $4\mathrm{.}5$ TPI and other one $9$ TPI

BSW thread. The lathe type, similar to that shown in Q$1($Figure $1),$ has provisions for both

Norton and Meander drive. The combination supports BSW thread production. The type of

Meander drive is shown in the Fig. $2$B$.$ In the lathe, the gear quadrant has two speed reduction

steps with gears$-$in mesh, as $60-80$ and $160-240.$ The lead screw driving the carriage has $2$ TPI

BSW thread. The Norton driving gear having $32$ teeth. Determine the tooth of the gear on

Norton gear cone cluster $(32,36,38,40,$dots.$\mathrm{.}56)$ which should be set along with specific

settings in the Meander drive $($Fig$.2$B$).$ Redraw the Meander drive $($Figure $2$b$)$ with two

different settings required for two different threads.
