Q. When designing user documentation, what should the focus be?

A. When designing user documentation, the focus should be about participation. The co-ordination, each user shares their skills and knowledge which leads to solution of problems and immediate reaction to changes where good decisions will be made. By involving staff during the implementation stage, success will happen as they will have accomplished ownership, better understanding on the systems and be very co-operative and less resistant to change. Staff participation leads to work being done the right way first time.
