The owner also hold 10% of the payment as retention. Final payment will be paid six (6) month after completion of the project and will include payment of the retention. VCSB pays material suppliers in full when it receives payment from the owner. VCSB pays subcontractor when it receives payment from the owner but withholds 10% from the subcontractor's payment. MCSB pays for labor wages in full on monthly basis. The projected monthly material costs, labor costs and subcontractor claim, as well as VCSB's monthly progress claim is as shown in Table Q1.
