The frequency of each category for one nominal variable is compared across the categories of the second nominal variable.The analysis of varianceis calculated on therank-transformed data. Similarly, it was found that theranktransformation increasingly fails in the two dependent samples layout as the correlation between pretest and posttest scores increase.
