5S, Lean, and Six Sigma.

1. In your own words, explain all three. What is each used for? How are they similar? How are they different? How are they related?
2. Assume you have been assigned as a call center supervisor with 100 full and part-time employees. The call center is not operating efficiently, and quality is poor. There is no quality management system in place and there is no quality culture. You have decided to use 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma to deal with the challenge. Would you use all three at once, or use them in sequence, or use only one? Explain your reasoning.
3. Assume you have been hired to manage a video production studio that creates corporate videos, marketing videos, training videos, and live event recording/editing services. The owner wants you to focus on increasing profitability by improving quality and efficiency. How would you balance the desire to improve quality and efficiency with the need to be creative and innovative for each new project?
