Grateful to not have to deal with Mike any longer, Moe returns to the scene in the employee lounge to find the following: Vera sitting in a stupor next to her husband, Chuck, who has passed out from witnessing Vera's extreme distress. Still fuming, Dave is standing with his arms folded. Sticky is calmly finishing Chuck's lunch.

Vera is being slowly brought to her feet by Moe, and as he looks away for a second, and she swiftly kicks him in the shins. He doubles over in pain and thereby luckily misses the killer punch that Dave has thrown at the same time. Dave is glad when he cools down later that Moe hadn't even seen him. $($End of Story$)$
