There is also a soup kitchen run in partnership with the local synagogue and local mosque that feeds local homeless people and food insecure families hot meals twice a day. The county emergency manager has met multiple times with both organizations and together they have developed a plan to utilize both services during a disaster to provide mass feeding to the community.
