The line has an impedance of $Z_{\text{L}\text{i}\text{n}\text{e}}=0\mathrm{.}5$ per mile.

From Bus A $($where the relay is$)$ how far down the line is the fault? Answer in miles.

Hint: Calculate the $Z_{\text{p}\text{r}\text{i}\text{m}\text{a}\text{r}\text{y}}$ impedance first then figure out the distance of the fault from Bus A
