In the narrative it is eluded that the change management sponsor alone cannot lead an organisation through change. An organisation needs to engage its stakeholders, in order to implement changes effectively. To do that, stakeholders need to understand the reasons why the change is happening and its benefits. They also need to have an opportunity to express their views and contribute their own ideas about how it might be implemented. Even if the change is non-negotiable, cooperation and collaboration to achieve the change is more likely if stakeholders are involved and kept informed. From a strategic perspective critically discuss the importance of constant communication with stakeholders.
