The floor will be subjected to a live load of $5k\frac{N}{m^2}.$

$1\mathrm{.}1$ Design suitable reinforcement to resist the bending moments in the slab panel bound by columns $2,3,4$ and $5$ using $30$MPa concrete and high tensile reinforcement. The cover to all reinforcement is to be $40mm.$

$1\mathrm{.}2$ Check the slab for shear at the internal support of the short span.

$1\mathrm{.}3$ Determine the expected long$-$term service deflection and comment on your answer.
