It essential for a business to have processes in order to be improving as a business. The processes in sales and marketing are lead generation and prospecting. Lead generation is a mix of both sales and marketing. The purpose of a lead generation is to make people attractive to the brand. Prospecting is stage one when it comes to sales. It engages with a potential customer to have a potential sale. The processes in supply chain management are inventory management, logistics and transportation. Inventory management focuses on tracking inventory that starts at manufactures to the warehouse, and then to the point of sale. Transportation and logistics mean the process of coordinating, planning, and managing how goods move. The processes of managing information technology are system development and implementation, and data management and analytics. Development means creating a product or a software. Implementation means the process of offering a product or software. Data management is the process of analyzing and managing data in order to improve the outcome or decision. Analytics is a set of processes that helps manage the data. The processes of managing human resources are recruitment and selection, and performance management. Recruitment and selection are the process of finding the most qualified candidate for a particular job. Performance management is the process monitoring employees in order to see what improvements need to be done.

A manager is able to balance all three key components of a service system design by focusing and understanding what each key component requires. For peoples, a manager should hire the candidate that would best suit the job. They should have all the necessary qualities and skills for the job description. Training should be provided, in order to teach employees how to do their job. As well, a manager should provide critical feedback. They should be evaluating their employee and explain to them that they should improve on$.$ They should also reward employees who have done an exquisite job. For technology, training should be provided to employees. They should be taught how to use and run certain technology systems. As well, the manager should provide technology that allows for easy communication in different departments in a job. For processes, managers should continuously improve their processes and see if there are any flaws. As well, they should evaluate their quality control measures in order to ensure that they would be able to deliver products that have no defects on them.
