The IT team has to be guided in such a manner that they use the innovation and technology in the best possible manner. A descriptive question that has to be asked by the board to the IT team is that how the use of technology and innovation will help the company to increase its profits and revenue. The IT department should perform a well- researched presentation to convince the company that technology will act as a driver of profits. The brand advertisement, positive word of mouth, social media marketing, e-mail marketing have to be taken in consideration for effective results. The second research question that is relational in nature can be how the technology is related to the firm. The question here arises is what if technology is not adopted. The concerned department should convince the board that now is the era of technology and innovation. All the firms are forced to use computers instead of heavy registers to store their data. This way the profits and revenue have also increased. A casual research question to guide the team is how the employees will adapt to the changing work environment. The change in technology will lead to difficulty in adapting to the work environment by the old employees. This can often reduce their efficiency. The IT department along with the HR department should find a way to boost up their morale. So, these three types of questions will prove effective in guiding the employees.
