CLO$2$ Create a manufacturing simulation model to solve manufacturing problems.

A production floor shall process blank metal parts through $4$ manufacturing stations in a

sequence: Cutting. Miling, Polishing and Cleaning. Each station has its own machine

capacity as shown in Figure $1\mathrm{.}1.$ The metal parts arrived at each station shall be processed

on a First$-$In$,$ First$-$Out $($FIFO$)$ basis.For this case study, answer the following questions:

$($a$)$ Based on Figure $1\mathrm{.}1,$ construct a flow chart and set up a simulation model that can read the production data file provided by the tutor. Explain the steps taken with suitable diagrams. $[10$ marks$]$

The manufacturing duration for each process will be provided by the tutor in a separate

production data file.
