All business organizations have operational systems which are implemented by people, teams, work groups, individual contributors, functional groups, and more. Businesses need teams to operate as a business unit regardless of the goal. Think about the

positions that you have held in school or in an employment environment. Knowing what you know now (from your studies in this course) think about the leaders that youve had as supervisors, bosses, coworkers, and then also your peers, subordinates, coworkers, etc.... Team dynamics is a huge aspect of goal accomplishment. Discuss the team or teams that youve been a part of and provide examples of your abilities to support the team with the information below toward goals that youve been a part of.

Discuss the importance of a team environment to accomplish goals in your previous/current organization and what key characteristics made the team successful and valuable. Provide evidence to support your claims.

How did diversity of people play into the success of the team or... into the failures of this team? What areas of Diversity played a key role?

How was your team motivated to accomplish team goals, and how did the level of performance directly affect the motivations of you and your team? How?

Discuss the difficulties with your teams ability to make decisions. What were the barriers? Do you feel that the team was able to make quality decision? Why or Why not? Provide evidence to support your comments.

What type(s) of communication skills did your team utilize to support the tasks and how did you respond to those who were not effective in their communications? How could you or others have communicated more effectively?
