Describe a (manufacturing or service) process of your choice that you intend to improve the capacity of that process. (2 points).

Show a step-by-step procedure how would you improve the process or recommend the improvement of that process (by reducing process variation). (6 points)

For example, if the process stands at the 3-sigma level, how could you improve to a 6-sigma level. [The Six Sigma approach is a data-driven approach]. You may present alternately a conceptual view of the process improvement. However, a six-sigma data analysis (shown in the lecture) is preferred.
