B.Jerry has recently commenced working at K & L Accountants and has been asked to develop the following PowerPoint presentation for internal training purposes; "why accountants should be involved in the implementation of accounting information system (AIS)?" The practice has recently started to explore the provision of consultative services to clients that are looking to implement new systems and seeks to train staff in identifying opportunities and explaining to clients how this can benefit them. Jerry remembers covering this as part of his accounting course and knows off the top of his head four (4) reasons to justify accountants inclusion in this process.
