(10 marks] b) Compare persistent, non-persistent and p-persistent CSMAs for a given scenario and provide a recommendation. Assume a potentially high network density and that the nodes generate frequent traffic. [8 marks] c) After adopting CSMA as a MAC protocol for the application, the developers faced the following situation: A D B Nodes B, C and D periodically sent updates to the base station without any collisions. However, when remote node A joined the network, and started sending packets to the base station, the transmission from nodes B, C and D became often corrupted. Assume Node A is within the communication range from the base station but cannot see Nodes B, C and D. Explain the possible reason for packet corruption and suggest a solution. [7 marks)
