Quality criteria used in quantitative research, such as validity and reliability, are not suitable to judge the quality of qualitative research. Qualitative researchers speak of trustworthiness, which refers to the quality of an inquiry $-$ whether the findings and interpretations made are an outcome of a systematic process, and whether the findings and interpretations can be trusted $($Lincoln & Guba, $1985).$

In light of the observation above, discuss the FOUR $(4)$ criteria of trustworthiness: credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability.
