Boago told a potential customer, Mr Aaron, that a certain Audi he was interested in purchasing had been driven only 50 000km in four years and had never been in an accident. Mr Aaron hired a mechanic to appraise the condition of the car. The mechanic said that the car had at least 85 000km on mileage and had probably been in accident before. The mechanic also said that regardless of the higher mileage it was still a good price for the car. Based on this testimonial, Mr Aaron decided to purchase the Audi. After the purchase the vehicle, it immediately developed numerous mechanical problems which would cost P10,000 to repair. Mr Aaron has now come back to High Class Motors and is seeking to have you rescind the contract on the basis of Boagos fraudulent misrepresentations of the cars condition.
