They found that the current layout was inefficient, with raw materials and finished products stored in different locations, causing unnecessary movement of goods throughout the facility. The expert also noticed that the production process was not well-organised, with different processes being carried out in different areas of the facility. To address these issues, the expert proposed a new layout that would optimise the production process and reduce unnecessary movement of goods.
