To achieve this, they should evaluate their human resources against the measures of sources of competitive advantage. They should establish what value this resource is adding to the organisation. How can their human resources be used within Samsung to make use of opportunities or diminish threats within the external and internal environment of the organisation? Their workforce should have talents that are unique, they should be dedicated to the organisation, they should be innovative and creative, and should perform their work at the highest possible level. The executives at Samsung should determine whether the talent available within the organisation can be seen as a scarce commodity, compared to the talent within other companies, and whether this will truly contribute to a competitive advantage over their competitors. They need to establish whether it is possible for other companies to also get hold of these resources or commodities fairly easily, or find another way to get the same value and advantage.
