Content theories assume that all employees possess a common set of basic needs and that these needs motivate employees to work hard. McClelland's Human Motivation theory is one of the theories on motivation that falts under content theories. He identified three motivationai needs. All three needs motivate people although there might be one dominant motivator for an individual. If leaders can identify the dominant motivator of employees, specific needs of employees can be satisfied.

Explain the three needs as identified by McClelland and how you, as a leader, can use these needs to motivate people.
