Question 3(40p) : Steam generated (stream 2) in a power plant at a pressure of 8600kPa and at a
temperature of 500C is fed to a turbine. Exhaust from the turbine (stream 3) enters a condenser at
10kPa, where it is condensed to saturated liquid (stream 4), which is then pumped to the boiler
(stream 1). The mass flow rate of the steam is 84.75kgs and the surrounding temperature is 25C.
Thermodynamic properties of the streams are given in the schematic diagram of the cycle shown
below. Make the thermodynamic analysis of the system and calculate the thermodynamic
