Part A: Picturing Circular Motion Attach a piece of string to a single washer at one end and four washers at the other. Use your finger or a pen in the centre of the single washer to swing it at a consistent, steady rate in a circle, flat against the surface of a table or floor. Complete the investigation showing all your work for any calculations. 4. Draw a picture of the washer group travelling along its circular path at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions.
