i) The maximum tensile load the composite beam can withstand without yielding of either the concrete or the steel rebar.
ii) The elongation of the beam at the maximum tensile load
Assume the modulus of elasticity of steel is 200,000MPa and the modulus of elasticity of concrete is 21,000MPa.
