3.4 Sampling strategy and sample size: [U1]

The sampling strategy for this research will involve a combination of purposive and random sampling techniques. Firstly, the researcher will purposively select private technical vocational schools in the Awutu Senya East Municipality based on their reputation, enrollment size, and availability of relevant programs. Within each selected school, random sampling will be employed to select students, teachers, and administrators to participate in the study.

The determination of the sample size will depend on the nature and scope of the research. For quantitative data collection, the sample size will be calculated using appropriate statistical formulas to ensure adequate statistical power and representativeness. For qualitative data collection, the sample size will be determined through data saturation, where data collection continues until no new themes or insights emerge from the interviews or focus group discussions.
