b) A major airport operator has announced it wants to build a new runway at the airport in your capital city. This new runway will mean 6000 homes having to be demolished with over 20,000 people being displaced. An area of natural beauty and a wild life reserve will also be lost. The operator says this runway is essential to the country for economic reasons and to meet growing demand. You have been engaged by the residents action group to carry out a Public Relations campaign to fight these plans. The residents group has very limited funding available for the campaign. There is limited printed and electronic media in the region, however, literacy levels in the affected area are quite low.

c) You have been given the task of organising and staging a press reception. Give 20 roles, tasks or duties that a public relations officer might perform from the original idea being suggested to immediately after the end of the reception.
