4.1 Findings

The results of the study revealed a number of significant obstacles that private technical and vocational education in the selected schools must overcome. These difficulties can be arranged into three fundamental regions: limitations in infrastructure and resources, issues with curriculum and instruction, opportunities for employment and collaboration in the industry

1. Limited Resources and Infrastructure:

(a). Insufficient actual foundation: Inadequate classroom, workshop, and practical training facilities pose challenges for many private technical vocational schools in the Awutu Senya East Municipality. The effective delivery of technical and vocational education is hampered by this limitation.

(b). Insufficient resources for instruction: According to the study, instructional materials, tools, and equipment in private schools are frequently outdated. This insufficiency has a negative impact on education quality and restricts students' development of practical skills.

2.Curriculum and Educational Issues:

(a). Outdated Instruction: The curricula taught by some private technical vocational schools are still out of date and do not meet the needs of the market. This befuddles between the educational plan and industry requests lessens the importance and employability of graduates.

(b). Insufficient informative techniques: According to the findings of the research, some private schools have difficulty implementing efficient instructional strategies like industry internships, experiential learning opportunities, and hands-on learning. Students are unable to gain practical skills and real-world experiences as a result of this deficit.

3. Opportunities for Industry Collaboration and Employment:

(a). Limited partnerships with industry: Establishing solid partnerships with local businesses is frequently challenging for private technical and vocational schools. Students are deprived of exposure to industry practices, networking opportunities, and employment prospects as a result of this lack of collaboration.

(b). Inadequate services for job placement and career guidance: The study found that private technical vocational schools lacked career guidance and job placement services. Due to a lack of support and direction, graduates have trouble finding suitable employment opportunities.

I discovered that the private technical vocational Institutions in Awutu Senya East Municipality is lagging behind their counterparts in other municipalities in terms of academics performance and vocation. Upon a thorough investigations on the various institutions, I found out there are issues and challenges facing Private Technical Vocational Institutions in Awutu Senya East Municipality. This necessitated me to write a research topic on Challenges Confronting Private Technical Vocational in Some Selected Schools in Awutu Senya East Municipality.[U1]

The issues include the high cost of living, the need for specialized skills and knowledge, the competition from other Private Technical Vocational Institutes, and the need to continuously update and improve their facilities and services.
