During the third quarter of $2019,$ BTX Technologies, a Cape Town$-$based software company, announced the conclusion of

its acquisition of RQT Developers, another Cape Town$-$based software company. The human resources director of the

new BTX Technologies wants to determine which one of two legacy training programmes should be retained for the

training of its interns. The company has recently recruited a group of $50$ computer science graduates into its internship

programme. At the beginning of the internship, a standardized high performance computing test was administered to the

interns and their baseline scores were recorded $($Pre$\_$train Score$).$ Each one of the $50$ interns were then randomly

allocated to one of the two legacy training programmes, Team $1$ and Team $2,$ to undergo a four$-$week intensive training in

high performance computing. At the end of the training, the interns were again tested on the standardized high

performance computing test and their scores were again captured $($Post$\_$train Score$).$ Table $6\mathrm{.}1,$ below, is an excerpt of
