Gymo will track the Progress of gym members such as: tracking steps, calories, exercise, or metrics such as heart rate and weight, visually showing your members how well they are progressing is a great way to motivate and support them. This mobile app will provide easy communication with members anytime and anywhere. Whether it's a class update, the schedule has changed, reminders, exclusive offers or personalized discounts, notification will be pushed immediately to their smartphone. Moreover, members are allowed to directly book classes and courses, monitor their payment, make secure payments, and keep up to date with their membership plan through the membership platform in the proposed app. To add more value, the mobile app will be integrated with wearable devices like Jawbone or Android Wear to help the members stay on track of their health. Also, to build brand loyalty and keep members engaged through the mobile app. Gymo will provide valuable content including blogs, nutrition tips, podcasts, and exercise videos. Joseph Lortan, Gymo' financial controller, estimated the project's budget to be around $100,000. Project Requirements: 1. Form groups of 4 to 5 people and appoint a leader for each. 2. Students are required to initiate the project by completing the given Project Charter. 3. According to all given mobile App's features, students are required to plan for the project's scope, time, cost, people, risk, and communication and document all the planning in the form of the following documents: a. Project organization b. Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) c. Gantt chart d. Cost estimates e. Risk management plan f. Communication management plan. 4. Each team must provide evidence of progress through the group discussion feature and files repositories on MS Teams. (The instructor will create these groups on MS Teams where all discussions, progress and documentation are made there for each group).
