When people want to do something like their hobby or simply share their common interests together, CONNECT works in a way that it offers people to join interest groups so you can meet new interesting individuals. The app can help individuals find others with a common interest or hobby like mountain biking, eating out, volleyball and so on. You can find groups of people with a common interest and join their scheduled events, or you could be the one that makes plans yourself to go to events, movies, parties, and so on.

Connect is different from Tinder, which is best known as a dating app, as our audience will be targeted on finding a friend or community instead of a romantic partner. Tinder treats the choosing of partners almost as a game. The initial approval/disapproval (left swipe/right swipe) model and the anticipation of waiting for a response is a huge selling point of Tinder and other social network applications. Our main selling point is eliminating that initial hi and instead implementing an interactive game to break the ice between the pair or the group of people.

So, once the users have downloaded the app and filled in the required data, they are then able to choose the interest group(s) they wish to join. It can also help break the ice with interactive activities like small scenario games with the goal to make the other person laugh.
