The health sector in the United States is diverse and consisting of private and public services (Niles, 2019). Healthcare is available to those who opt for medical benefits or for those who have a public health program. (Switzerland, 2019). If something is similar around the globe with all health services, it is because everyone has customers or machine users. Unlike most nations, the United States would not provide all its people access to healthcare. Health insurance in the United States is very pricey and will not be able to afford it for the majority of residents. (Switzerland, 2019). The government oversees the Japanese health care system (Niles, 2019). In Japan, healthcare is a right. Healthcare is provided by employer purchased schemes. Insurance premiums of the insurance plan are paid by a compulsory payroll deduction. (Niles, 2019). Patients are free to choose their physicians and hospitals without a restriction. Now, due to the increase of an aging population with chronic diseases, the spending will continue to rise in Japan, surpassing the United States. (Niles, 2019). There is also France, which is rated as one of the best healthcare systems in the world. In France, the system consists of statutory health insurance as a part of their social security system funded by payroll taxes, a national income tax, alcohol and tobacco taxes, the drug industry, and voluntary health insurance and state subsidies. (Niles, 2019). In comparison with the United States, the French government makes it very difficult for insurance companies to deny any coverage because of pre-existing conditions. There is something similar to the U.S and that is that after 2005 they implemented medical nomadism that is very similar to the managed care system in the U.S. (Niles, 2019). Last but not least is Switzerland, also considered one of the best healthcare systems in the world. Unlike the U.S., all residents are required to purchase health insurance, so, in a sense, it is a country with universal healthcare. Insurers cannot reject an applicant based on his or her health status. (Niles, 2019). If there is something that I have learned about the healthcare system around the globe is that healthcare should be a right, not a privilege. Switzerland, Japan, and France prove that affordable healthcare is actually better. Making healthcare affordable could benefit all of the U.S population. There are some things in common among these three countries with technology being the main focus on all. However, the quality of care should not be compromised because of that. In France, the scheme requires a public health care scheme covered by sales tax, public payroll taxes, alcohol, cigarettes, the opioid industry, and private health benefits, and federal subsidies as part of a social protection net. (Switzerland, 2019). Compared to the USA, insurance providers are very hard to refuse coverage due to the pre-existing conditions in the French System. Somewhat like the U.S., since 2005 they adopted medical nomadism somewhat close to that of the U.S. controlled healthcare system (Niles 2019). Switzerland, too, is also one of the world's best networks of healthcare. In comparison, in a way it is a country with a universal healthcare scheme, any person wants to buy health insurance. Insurers can not deny an application on account of the health status of the claimant. (Switzerland, 2019). If I've learned much about the health system globally, it's that healthcare is a luxury, not a privilege. The inexpensive health is generally safer, proved by Switzerland, Japan, and France. It will help all the US population and make healthcare available. In these three countries, there are some things in common that focus most on technology. However, regardless of that, the standard of service should not be affected.
