Question: How much is the total payroll per group
The Windsaw Manufacturing Corp. Mr. Milan, Jeffrey is the owner of the plant. He has 125 direct workers in production that he divide them into 60% are pieceworkers (paid based on completed piece at P250) and the rest are daily workers ( paid daily rate P400). In the payroll records of accounting showed the following; Payroll in days; from month of July to August, 53 days; September to October, 51 days; November to December, 49 days. Daily paid workers also do overtime every day for 4 hours, no absences. Pieceworkers attended worked from 7am up to 8pm daily and can produce an average of 3 units per day. Mr. Milan compared this to previous payroll of daily workersfor the last 6 months, it increased to 65%. There was no significant change on number of shipments made from the past 6 months compared to the 2nd half of the year, but the payroll increase the output were just at an average. The camaraderie among direct workers and pieceworkersare strong that even after the heavy work most of them are having"beer-time" with their belief to take out stress for the days work. In the last month the Owner was faced by a "respect" from daily workers to increase their pay rate but the Owner didn't heed that issue because he is very confident that these workers will not complain because the rate is much higher than the government imposed daily rate. As Operation Manager in this firm, how would you connect this issue with the increase in payroll
