The first assignment is to set up the schedule for the Customer Service desk and make sure that someone is answering the phone at all times. Jim has done this before, so the assignment has few drawbacks for him.

In the second assignment, Nancy wants Jim to organize training sessions for new employees. Jim should train the employees to talk to customers on the phone and handle their complaints. Jim is expert in both areas.

Assignment #$3$

In the third assignment, Nancy wants Jim to set up a new class for managers on communicating with customers. Jim has not taught such a class before and the subject matter is new to him. He is nervous about failing in front of the managers. However, if he succeeds, he would be seen as a trainer.

In the fourth assignment, Jim will set up the computerized reservation system for tour assistants. Jim is familiar with the system, but has found that tour assistants are difficult to work with.
