Having an accommodating approach can become very un-affective. It can help management build a strong relationship with their staff members, but it can also allow for those select few to take advantage of them as well. If a staff member constantly has an emergency and has to leave during important task, that is an issue. This result in all the extra work being put on the other employees. It is okay to be accommodating at times, but to be aware of those that constantly have some sort of emergency. Employees can be good and hardworking, but still unreliable. I have seen bosses be accommodating to the point the rest of us employee get frustrated because we are having to do the others extra work.

Collaborating together with coworkers and management can be fore beneficial overall for everyone. Management is constantly bombarded with questions because co-workers are comfortable enough to ask one another for assistance. I personally have collaboratives style more beneficial, especially for small local growing businesses. My boss want to hear the feedback and input from us, to a point. She does have her own vision for her company, but she does listen and take in our suggestions or ideas when it comes to products, and displaying around the store. This also helps sales go up, because we are not only selling her items, but other products that we use and like as well.
