(READ CAREFULLY AND PUT RESPONSE INTO YOUR OWN WORDS)
Make sure everything in instructions is done in a detailed explanation response
All of us bring biases to the decisions we make. Some of these biases have advantages and others disadvantages, butallhave implications for managerial decision-making.
Exhibit 4-5in the textbook shows a dozen common managerial biases used in decision-making (also on slide #13 in Lecture Notes).Any of these biases can contribute to poor decision-making that could negatively impact individuals and/or the organization.Managers and individuals need to be aware of any potential biases prior to making an important decision. Lack of awareness weakens decisions further.
Instructions:
Select a manager or leader recently in the news and show how the manager used one of the twelve "Decision Making Errors and Biases" in their decision. There are twelve biases, so try to select one that has not been presented. In your first post, identify the decision bias and briefly describe. Then introduce your manager / leader, describe the decision situation, and show how the decision-maker allowed the bias to influence their decision. You might even show some of the consequences of the manager decision.... all of this must be done in two hundred to two hundred and twenty five words.
