Procedure

1. Mix some red color in a glass of water (or fill a glass with a dark red juice such as cranberry juice).
2. Put a celery stalk in the colored water.
3. Wait 1 to 2 hours.
4. Remove the celery stalk, then cut it in half lengthwise and record your observations.
