Read local and/or national news stories and find at least two examples of transformational leaders. Explain which criteria of transformational leadership apply to the leaders you chose. Does any patterns emerge in the examples (e.g., mostly male, mostly older)? How did these people become transformational leaders? What are they transforming? Is there any opposition to their leadership? How are the leaders handling the opposition?
