"So much happened back then, and my drinking would lead me to drugs, and my drug use took me to some pretty dark places. I started pushing people away and found a different crowd of people to hang out with. I was a meth head and would stay up for days not eating while just doing things that were crazy, things that should have landed me in prison or with STD's. I found a whole new group of people that were just like mejunkies, tweakers, and just drifters who only lived for getting high. Living that lifestyle is a lot of work, always finding new people to scam or a new hustle to get high and maintain that high. After a while, it just became life, one that I would live for over 25 years. Living like that though is not truly living. It's surviving, and I was able to find others who were in that same mindset. I guess you can say back then I found other addicts like me and they became "my tribe
