It is of the utmost importance that we identify a safe way of drinking water that is capable without the access of treating it through the help of resources from our environment. Drinking water is one of the essential sources to ensure our hydration throughout our lifespan. As humans, it is necessary to always drink water to keep our bodies hydrated and a primary source of electrolytes. The use of Moringa has an added advantage over the chemical treatment of water because it is biological and has been reported as edible (Suleyman et.al., 2012). The hardness removal efficiency of Moringa oleifera was found to increase with increasing dosage. M. oleifera seeds act as natural absorbents and antimicrobial agents. Its seed contains 1% active polyelectrolytes that neutralize the negatively charged colloid in the dirty water. This protein can therefore be a nontoxic natural polypeptide for the sedimentation of mineral particles and organics in the purification of drinking water. The traditional use of the M. Oleifera seeds for domestic household water treatment has been well known in certain rural areas in Sudan (NRC, 2006). In the West Asia, one of the best-known uses for Moringa is the use of powdered seeds to flocculate contaminants and purify drinking water (Berger, et al 1984, Gassenchmidt, et al 1995, Olesen, 1987), but the seeds are also eaten green, roasted, powdered and steeped for tea or used in curries (Gassenchmidt, et al 1995). A study by Camacho et al. (2017) evaluated the impact of Moringa oleifera seeds and reduced the amount of oil as coagulants in conventional surface water treatment. The study suggested that Moringa oleifera seeds have the potential as a natural coagulant. Several studies have been conducted on the effectiveness of Moringa oleifera seeds as an antimicrobial agent for water purification. A study conducted in Ethiopia found that the seed powder and its extract can control and reduce water-borne bacterial diseases (Delelegn et al. 2018). According to Chaudhary et al. (2017), purifying water with Moringa oleifera seed powder is efficient and safe. It is also thought to be economical and environmentally friendly, making it appropriate for usage in rural areas without access to water treatment facilities. Therefore, the use of inexpensive Moringa oleifera seeds is advised for simplified and eco-friendly water treatment, especially in underdeveloped rural and semi-urban areas
