From the recent experience of working in a group project, I learned that is better to be proactive than to wait for other people to make decisions. As soon as I saw the group was posted, I went ahead and made a group chat so we had a week to plan before the assignment even started so we could pick a business, divide the deliverables between everyone, and come up with an event for the material. It can be hard to make decisions in a group environment since everyone's opinions and feelings need to be considered when deciding on the work that needs to be done, but especially when meeting a deadline, sometimes it's better to make the decisions when nobody else is being proactive. I think this experience overall has reminded me and encouraged to make decisions and not be scared to speak up when things need to be done or are not being completed correctly. In order to keep a productive dynamic while working amongst a group, communication and time management are two of the most important factors to keep in mind.
