Paper Assignment

This assignment is designed for you to apply concepts to a "real" topic within the realm of real estate.Some of you have experience in property management, construction, home ownership, rental, mortgage banking, etc..., and some of you have other experiences connected to real estate.

Review the statements/topics, choose one as your topic for "reflection".

After you have chosen a topic:

1 - Write an introduction paragraph identifying the subject topic and state your reaction to the topic within the introduction.

2 - Support your subject topic with concepts you have learned in the class.Identify your thoughts and discuss your ideas.

3 - Conclude by concisely summarizing your information and recapping the reasons you are interested in the topic, the reason the topic proves true or false in your opinion, or where you might use the information you have researched with respect to your situation in life or in your own career.

4 - Cite all sources used for research of the topic at the end of the paper.Sources will be checked.

1. Construction is a vital part of real estate developments.

2. Real estate agents play a crucial role in any real estate transaction.

3. A real estate agent is not a lawyer but should be familiar with all legal documents necessary to bring a client to the closing table fully prepared.

4. Tenant - Landlord Laws are essential and beneficial to both the tenant and the landlord.

5. Cities play a critical role in whether a real estate subdivision, shopping center, or office building is built.

6. I have always wanted to be a property manager.

7. COVID-19 has changed the occupancy forecasts for the hotel/hospitality industry and has affected cities' collectable taxes.
