Monica's best friend Shanna lives out of state and her mom just had a breast biopsy. Shanna calls Monica upset because they have not received the results of the biopsy. Shanna wants to fly home to be with her mom if the results show a malignancy; however, she does not want to purchase her plane ticket until she gets the results due to financial resources. Monica, trying to be helpful, looks up the biopsy results and lets Shanna know that the tumor is benign. Monica feels she did the right thing since the results were benign and she saved Shanna from purchasing an unneeded plane ticket.
