I followed the Kantian ethical framework in this situation, as I believed it was necessary to treat my co-worker with respect and dignity and not use them as a means to an end. I also believed that upholding universal moral principles, such as honesty and integrity, was essential. If I had followed a utilitarian ethical framework, my decision might have been different. I may have chosen not to report my co-worker to avoid negative consequences for myself and others, as reporting them could potentially harm the company's reputation or cause conflict within the workplace. However, this decision would have gone against my values and principles of honesty and integrity.
