Recognizing principles for good document design isn$$t just for artists. Whether you are an accountant writing an email or a graphic designer creating a website, you need to recognize design elements that enable your audience to easily read the text you write.

The goal of this exercise is to demonstrate your ability to recognize the concepts of the four principles of document design: contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity.
