Recognizing Letter Elements

While email is the most common format for business correspondence, many businesspeople use letters to communicate with external

audiences, to send formal internal or external messages, or even to present short reports.

This activity is important because your ability to use standard letter format is an indication of your professionalism and credibility as a

businessperson$-$it shows that you have taken the time to understand and use common business conventions in your writing.

The goal of this activity is to demonstrate your ability to recognize the common parts of a business letter.
